How To Measure Your Dog

Getting the right fit for your pup is easy! Follow these simple steps to measure your dog accurately before ordering.

What You'll Need

  • A soft measuring tape (or a piece of string and a ruler)
  • Treats to keep your dog still!

Key Measurements

1. Back Length

Measure from the base of your dog's neck (where the collar sits) to the base of the tail. Keep the tape along the spine.

2. Chest Girth

Measure around the widest part of your dog's chest, just behind the front legs. Make sure you can fit two fingers under the tape for comfort.

3. Neck Girth

Measure around the base of your dog's neck where the collar sits. Again, allow two fingers of room.

4. Belly Girth (for pajamas & full-body styles)

Measure around the widest part of your dog's belly/tummy area.

Tips for Accurate Measuring

  • Measure when your dog is standing in a natural, relaxed position.
  • Always measure twice to double-check!
  • If your dog is between sizes, we recommend sizing up for comfort.
